It is simple really. We prep for days like today where my husband and I both got notifications we will not have our jobs after December 15th. Need any more reasons? This is a pretty good one. We are not panicked. We are prepped.
Have a great day.
Sorry to hear that, but yes, a great reason to be prepped.
ReplyDeleteNo worries.
ReplyDeleteTo some, this may not be prepping, but tonight as I was moving a few things into my new apartment for work, I found I could not get a chair up the stairs due to the stairwell being unusually narrow. I figured if I could get the railing off the wall, the chair would fit. I didn't have my tool box, but in my bug out bag, I did have a multi-tool. All was going well until I got to a screw the contractors had stripped out. So, I went outside and found some dude to help me lift the chair over the rail and up the stairs. Something as simple as a screwdriver can save you a lot of trouble. Now I know I need to keep a drill and a stripped screw bit in my bug out bag.
ReplyDeleteIt is a process of adapting and improving your preparedness over time. Good to know. I definitely need to improve my tools available in my bag.
