Canning - Part 5 of 5 Freezer Canning

What is freezer canning?  Exactly as it sounds.  Instead of using heat techniques to store food, you freeze it.  I know, you already do this right?

Take the next step and switch to canning jars instead of plastic ziplock bags, plastic containers, or aluminum foil.  Canning jars are reusable, made of glass and uniform in size.  When you have doubled a recipe, have left overs from dinner, extra whey, or whatever you would put in the freezer use a canning jar instead of plastic wrap bags.  
  • Glass doesn't leach.  
  • Glass is easy to sanitize.  
  • Canning jar are easy to label and stack.  
  • Foods goes from the freezer to the crockpot or microwave, so you use fewer dishes.

Freezer canning is a win-win.
